I need someone to make a good directory. Since this is all anime, we need to categorize what sort of anime rps there are, and then have it done correctly. Not shittily in one board like on Love Stamp and Back to Neverland. A legit, good roleplay directory.
Suggestions are welcome.

Separate them by genre - fantasy, sol/casual, the works.
Screw making a section for fandom rps or separating them by board.
/brb making more precise sectioning.

I think there should be a split between Original RPs and ones based off of Manga/Anime/Games and etc. Then amongst those two, different boards/subboards for like... magical powers, ninjas, pirates, survival based, high school, slice of life, sci-fi, etc. I'm kinda too lazy to make up an actual chart or nice way to present this. But that's my idea.

The directory won't come for a bit, since we're just a community thing atm. But in the future if we go public, we'll have it. So it doesn't hurt to be prepared.

The reason I don't like splitting original and fandom rps into different boards is because the only difference between them is that one borrows ideas from a source and the other doesn't. The thing about labeling an RP as a fandom is that it usually gives the assumption that you can't be in that RP without knowing the source material, which is totally wrong.
Right now the major genres I can think of are: SLICE OF LIFE: high school and casual stuff. SCI-FI: future-set rps, robots, etc. HISTORICAL: rps set in the past, from medevial to idk victorian HIGH FANTASY: textbook fantasy, with races and stuff. think lotr-esque verses. URBAN FANTASY: magical things still happen, but in modern times. HORROR: creepy stuff.

Ahhh, alright. I didn't think of it like that before. I have to admit, seeing "fandom" attached to something does give off the impression that i need to know the material, even if it's not canon. My bad.
I do like what you've got though. I think a possible 6th would be Survival based, like... apocalyptic settings, or set on an island, or where the main premise is killing off other characters, prison settings, Zombies, but I'm not entirely sure if it'd be popular enough for a section devoted to it. Don't think it'd hurt.

Nah, it's popular enough. Edited the list.
